Play Our First Prototypes

From the very beginning of AWAY's development, we wanted to share our progress with you through short PC prototypes.

Take a stroll down memory lane and see what AWAY looked like in the early days of development. But keep in mind that these were our first attempts at designing the gameplay & mechanics, so don't expect anything too polished!


Locomotion Prototype

Take your first steps as a sugar glider in our first ever prototype. This was our very first attempt at implementing movement mechanics for the character (walk/run/jump/climb/glide).

hunting Prototype

Climb trees, glide through the air, and catch some unsuspecting lizards with our sugar glider's early hunting mechanics.


Gliding Prototype

Glide through the forest, canyons, and caverns as you embark on a frantic chase to hunt down your prey.

We also included a few easter eggs allowing you to possess other animals in the wild… See how many you can find!
